Madeleines

This was my first ever attempt to make madeleines. I don’t consider myself a baker.  But every now and then, I like to take the time to piddle paddle in the kitchen. Now, I’m not a Proust scholar either, but in lieu of this I was listening to Air while I was creating these quaintly pretentious cookies.
